Here is a close-up of some amazing vegetable soup with farro, containing sweet potatoes, red peppers, onions, kale, and chickpeas. Jonathan and I made it from Kate's recipe at Cookie + Kate, originally adapted from Heidi Swanson's farro soup in Super Natural Every Day. It's tasty and filling, but doesn't weigh you down.
And inspired by Alison's post about Savraw Organics, we tried our hand at some kale chips. They were delicious! The flavor somewhat reminded me of toasted pumpkin seeds.
