Comic Book Lingerie

Comics and lingerie. Two great tastes that taste great together. Or something. Actually, that was kind of gross. Should we forget that just happened? Okay!

Have you guys seen this Etsy shop? Because WHAT??? This woman is a genius or a demigod. We can pretend girls just buy these things to make guys catatonic happy, but you know some of them just want Wolverine to touch their pudding-filled balloons.  Haha. Remember when the kids used to do that? Turns out it is not that accurate!* Either way, this stuff is just splendid, and I am sad it seems to only come in A-D.

*I probably just ruined someone's day with that. Sorry. FYI, I think anybody who's touched boobies would attest that they're more like bricks in a garbage bag or Lucky Charms in a rubber glove. Amiright, guys? It can't just be mine.

Appliance Covers: It Begins

Guess what I did this weekend! If you guessed "something awesome," you are right, although I don't appreciate your lack of ambition. That was kind of a safe answer. I'll mark it correct, but I'm giving you the side-eye. Specifically, I started making a toaster cover and a stand mixer cover for my mom.

I warn you that I am not a professional, so you should not do/take/repeat anything I tell/give you, but tutorials are forthcoming.

Check out this awesome fabric I used for the project from PinkCastleFabrics's Etsy shop:

Also, SNEAK ATTACK! I threw something away.

You didn't see that coming, did you? It wasn't even in the title of the post this time! Now you have no idea what I'll do next! You are undoubtedly terrified and running for cover, but it is all in vain because I have proven myself to be an unpredictable adversary. It would be best for all parties if you were to surrender now.

These are plastic things that make video game systems stand on their sides, but they only fit flat in my TV stand, so they're going away.

With that, I wish you a happy Monday!

A Few Etsy Wedding Lovelies

At last, my wedding is far enough in the rearview mirror that I can talk about it with relatively low anxiety. It's going to be a few weeks before the digital proofs come in and I can post many of the amazing photos taken by Sweet Monday.

In the meantime, here are a few of my favorite Etsy wedding purchases. These merchants were all wonderful to buy from and get my highest recommendation!

1) Chiffon Clutch by Powder Blue Bijoux.

It's so pretty in person, I almost have to take a moment of silence. Okay. I'll be okay.
